Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Services Patrol in Albany, GA. You will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare and other settings, with a flexible schedule by using our Claim a Shift platform and performing unarmed patrols at healthcare locations.

You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership promptly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and access-control procedures in accordance with facility requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, hospital personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
