Job summary

The Baltimore Police are seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for the Baltimore Convention Center. Responsibilities include greeting and guiding visitors, monitoring security systems, and ensuring proper facility access. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of security experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Candidates may be required to complete a background check and must be available for shifts on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of security or law enforcement experience.
• Security Guard card certification is preferred.
• Must possess a Maryland Driver’s License or valid out of State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors and guests.
• Monitor and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Assist with monitoring closed circuit surveillance.
