Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer to provide protective services across diverse client sites. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, allowing a flexible schedule and valuable site experience.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team, with growth opportunities, while maintaining high professional standards and strong community safety. Must be at least 18 and possess a valid driver's license where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or notify police or fire department in case of emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and manage entrances/exits.
• Observe and protect property against theft and ensure authorized removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
