Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve client sites across diverse industries. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining hands-on site experience.

This part-time role offers paid orientation, an hourly wage of $24.81, and opportunities to grow within a leading security and facility services company.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as a condition of employment per laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment per law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/console and communicate with the public.
• Strong written and oral communication; active listening and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure compliant removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
