Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year general work experience; related field preferred.
• Valid, active driver's license.
• Strong organizational skills to keep workflow orderly.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility to perform a wide range of duties.
• Ability to interact with staff and residents effectively.
• Experience with computers and facility software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains alertness to control and secure the facility and residents.
• Operates within legal constraints and contract agency stipulations.
• Prepares shift documentation, reports, and logs.
• Relieves watch, records handovers, and notes duties.
• Conducts radio checks and facility counts.
• Patrols buildings and monitors residents for safety.
• Organizes resident work details and cleanliness.
• Performs urinalysis, pat downs, shakedowns, and breath tests.
• Documents disciplinary actions per policy.
• Welcomes visitors and verifies identities.
• Communicates professionally to maintain relations.
• Participates in staff meetings and confidentiality practices.
• Complies with safety rules and attendance policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
