Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Driver to support our Springfield, MO location. This part-time role focuses on visible security, customer service, and reliable incident response.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a courteous presence for attendees and staff. A valid driver's license is required and the schedule spans daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to utility-location personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities through required reports and communication channels.
