Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. This role provides reliable, flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $13.00 per hour. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, TSA-issued TWIC, and a high school diploma. 18+ for unarmed positions; 21+ for armed roles; background check and drug screen mandated.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and notify site contacts or responders.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs of patrols and events.
