Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Driving) in Greendale, Wisconsin. You will patrol a retail environment, assist shoppers and tenants, and maintain a visible security presence while responding to incidents and ensuring safety. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving role.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing a professional presence for the retail and mall environment.
