Job summary

Allied Universal® in Leesport, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Driver. You will perform routine patrols, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a strong security presence at a government residential care location.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and at least 6 months of security experience. Shifts run day and evening; compensation is $16.75 per hour, with access to the Claim a Shift platform for additional opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigations required by law; may be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and according to reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization as directed by site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.
