Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Patrol Assistant in Ashburn, Virginia. You will perform unarmed driving patrols and provide customer service to tenants and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and safety, with opportunities to respond to incidents, complete logs, and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate facilities, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building conditions; report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
