Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Driver for property rounds in Miami, FL. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns and provide excellent customer service to shoppers, tenants and visitors.

The role requires a valid in-state driver’s license, a background check, and compliance with drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: valid driver’s license in the state of job location.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State-, county-, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors and staff while carrying out security procedures and location-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and critical situations calmly and request appropriate assistance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas and property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, property concerns and other security-related incidents using reporting procedures.
• Assist with crowd management, access control and/or emergency response activities as directed by location management and Allied Universal.
