Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Credential Verification in Hickory, NC. You will support front-desk operations, visitor management, and access control at a manufacturing site, while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems from the assigned desk location; report unusual activity and follow site-specific escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Support reception and administrative functions related to security-related operations, including answering phones, providing directions, and communicating facility policies to visitors.
