Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, GA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Response Driver to protect aerospace and defense facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service and driving to assigned locations.

This role offers flexible day/evening shifts and the opportunity to grow with a leading security provider. Requirements include at least one year of security or military experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 20+

Qualifications

At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
Ability to lift 20+ pounds; CPR is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols and monitor aerospace/defense facilities and perimeters.
Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures; document visitor activity.
Respond to incidents and alarms; communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders.
Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications; stay aware of changing conditions.
