Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Barrier Driver for Topton, PA. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and monitor entry activity at a manufacturing/industrial site while representing our people-first culture.

The role emphasizes visible security presence, professional communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Candidates should have security experience and a valid driver’s license, with training provided on our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen in line with laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents and escalate to site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and grounds.
• Document incidents and shift activities clearly and confidentially.
