Job summary

All Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) in Pittston, PA. This role involves badge verification, access control, and providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers at a distribution center.

The position offers a flexible Part Time schedule, with pay rate of $19.50 per hour, and opportunities to learn and grow within a dynamic security team. A valid driver's license and prior access control experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Computer/tablet proficiency preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and drivers while enforcing site access control procedures.
• Monitor and control access points for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles entering/leaving the distribution location.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor/vehicle entry records, issue temporary access credentials, direct authorized personnel to areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and security concerns, escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking, and perimeter; report unusual activity.
