Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized persons within the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, employee areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Document security-related activities per site procedures to support a welcoming retail environment.
