Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Christiansburg, VA. You will patrol retail locations, deter security incidents, and provide courteous service to shoppers, staff, and visitors, maintaining a visible presence to ensure safety and a welcoming environment.

In this role, you will support access control, respond to incidents calmly, and follow site procedures while building a flexible schedule through the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, access concerns, and policy violations to site contacts.
• Assist with access control and documentation of incidents and patrols.
