Job summary

ASM Global at the Pennsylvania Convention Center is seeking a part-time Command Station Operator to monitor and respond to alarms and emergencies using the Continuum Building Security and Access System, Siemens life-safety-fire alarm system, and the DvTel CCTV network. The role requires a High School Diploma and preferably two years of public safety experience.

You will receive incident reports, log activities, coordinate with Police and Fire responders, and ensure secure access and visitor

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Preferred 2 years in public safety.
• Ability to interface with public, outside representatives, and center clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance cameras for signs of a potential threat or emergency.
• Dispatch emergency services when a real emergency is confirmed.
• Document incidents and maintain logs and communications.
• Operate PCC CCTV and incident reporting systems and ensure proper visitor screening.
