Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Prince George, VA to monitor and protect a food and beverage production site. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, control access, and respond to incidents as part of a collaborative team.

This role offers flexible scheduling with Tue and Sat shifts, opportunities for growth, and training. Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to identify unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor and control access to the location by checking credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entry/exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Help support food facility operations by observing and reporting conditions that may affect access control, traffic flow, or site operations.
