Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitakers, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with badge-control responsibilities. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain entry logs at a manufacturing/industrial site.

The role offers a flexible schedule with daytime and weekend shifts and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Prior security exposure and customer service skills are valued, along with the ability to use a computer or tablet for records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes as assigned, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and contractor access in accordance with established site requirements, escalating unauthorized access attempts and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
