Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Seasonal Team Member at the Lakewood, NY store to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance, while supporting omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, ensuring merchandise is in-stock and well presented.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and POS procedures preferred.
• Experience with stocking, planograms and merchandise recovery recommended.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop, and provide a fast checkout experience.
• Execute cash handling to standards and promote Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms (POGs), and merchandise recovery to maintain in-stock, well-merchandised shelves.
• Support omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Adhere to SOPs and safety programs, interact respectfully, and model Michaels values.
