Job summary

Harris Teeter in New Bern, NC is seeking a part-time seafood/meat clerk. You will process, package, and stock seafood products, assist customers, unload stock, and reload salvage while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

When assigned, you may perform duties of a meat clerk. Applicants must be at least 18, able to work in a cooler environment, and participate in required training with a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and stock seafood products per Seafood Standards.
• Provide customer service and unload/reload stock as needed.
• Clean work areas and maintain sanitation throughout shift.
• Perform meat clerk duties when assigned.
