Job description

Job Title: Seafood Associate (Part-Time)

This is a part-time position responsible for processing, packaging, and stocking seafood products according to Seafood Standards. Additional duties include cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. When assigned, perform duties of a meat clerk.

Essential Functions:

1. Process, package, and stock seafood products following company standards.
2. Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
3. Provide excellent customer service to shoppers.
4. Unload stock and reload salvage as needed.
5. Perform meat clerk duties when assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
3. Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to participate in training.
4. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
5. Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers, handling money and weights.
6. Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
7. Completion of company training programs including food safety, safety, and product knowledge.
8. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with reach and vision requirements.
9. Work environment includes cold, humid, and noisy conditions, with exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and airborne particles.
