MEAT/WRAPPER (Finance)



Prepare and display meat items for sale in accordance with company standards and policies. Greet customers, provide excellent customer service, and demonstrate the company's leadership behaviors and core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum requirements:

  • Willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
  • Qualified to operate power tools and equipment such as wrappers, slicers, grinders, power saws, and jacks.
  • Ability to work safely with chemical cleaning solutions.
  • Team-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to assist colleagues.
  • Capable of handling stressful situations tactfully and calmly, leaving positive impressions on customers and associates.

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in meat work or food preparation.
  • Dependability and integrity in previous roles.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment, OSHA, and food handling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and displaying merchandise neatly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring product quality, freshness, safety, and proper rotation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
  • Keeping carts, tools, and supplies organized and floors clean and safe.
  • Managing inventory levels in display cases, unloading trucks, and preparing merchandise for sale.
  • Providing excellent customer and team member relations.
  • Sanitizing equipment according to policies and health regulations.
  • Creating a friendly, professional impression on customers.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and team members.
  • Promptly and cheerfully serving customers, assisting in product location.
  • Adhering to all company, state, and federal laws and policies, including dress code, grooming, and food safety.
  • Maintaining equipment and facilities safely and properly.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $16.91 - $26.15
