Job summary

Beacon Mobility is hiring a part-time School Van Driver in Gardner, MA to transport students to school and events. You may assist students entering/exiting the vehicle, drive assigned routes, and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections while keeping the vehicle clean and safe.

A 7D certificate (or willingness to obtain) and a safe driving record are required; 21+ with 3 years driving is preferred. Training is provided, with competitive pay and benefits under a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
