Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our education network for a part-time, school-based assignment. You will provide therapy services and support to students with communication challenges, contributing to their academic and social success.

You’ll work with a collaborative special education team, with access to mentorship (CFs) and manageable caseloads, in a nationwide placement environment that emphasizes growth and support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP.
• State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations per IDEA and state standards.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with impairments.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and logs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student goals.
• Attend IEP and MDT meetings and participate in professional development.
• Utilize evidence-based therapy strategies, including AAC.
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions for diverse populations.
• Provide training to classroom staff to generalize communication strategies.
