Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Rhode Island to provide direct therapy to middle school students onsite. The caseload is manageable, with roughly 20 students, and the contract runs from August 26, 2026, to June 11, 2027, featuring a consistent schedule of two in-person days per week from 8:00 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m. Candidates must hold RI SLP licensure, a master's in SLP, and RIDE certification; school-based experience is a plus, and SLPAs are not

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island SLP license is required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certification is required.
• School-based experience is a plus.
• SLPAs are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in-person to middle school students
• Assess students communication needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and progress reporting
• Maintain accurate therapy records and compliance with district and state regulations
