Qualifications

• Educational level: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification/License Required: Georgia POST Certified Peace Officer.
• Experience: Patrol or Investigative Experience Preferred.
• Physical Activities: Routine physical activities required to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication; administering first aid and CPR; handling hazardous materials; knowledge of codes, regulations & laws; safety precautions & procedures; diffusing hostile situations.
• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Administers first aid providing emergency medical care.
• Assists community law enforcement personnel for school environment support.
• Collaborates with community agencies for safety and investigations.
• Communicates safety and enforcement policies to students, staff and visitors.
• Investigates campus incidents for appropriate action.
• Participates in meetings and trainings.
• Patrols school facilities to deter crime.

Responsibilities
