Job summary

Lees Summit R-7 School District - Woodland Elementary in Lees Summit, Missouri, seeks a part-time Resource Aide (3.5 hrs/day) for the 2026-27 school year. Position supports instruction, safety, and student welfare during non-classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety practices and maintain a safe campus environment.
• Operate standard office equipment and related software.
• Prepare and maintain accurate incident and activity records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining playground areas to ensure safe environments.
• Communicate safety policies to students, staff, and visitors.
• Intervene in conflicts and emergencies to minimize disruption or injuries.
• Maintain files and records for reference and audits.
• Monitor student behavior during and between periods.
• Prepare incident reports and activity logs.
• Provide coverage for other staff as needed.
• Refer incidents to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
• Respond to campus security issues and inquiries.
