Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Physical Therapist License as required by state.
• Standard Certificate as a School Physical Therapist.
• Preferred: prior school or pediatric healthcare experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student assessments for gross motor and mobility needs.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based therapy interventions within school environments.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting.
• Consult with educators and parents regarding equipment, accommodations, and ongoing progress.
• Provide documentation, reports, and maintain compliance with district/state requirements.
