Qualifications

• Graduate degree in school psychology from an approved program.
• Valid licensure or certification appropriate to practice in Iowa.
• Experience assessing student needs and developing individualized interventions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapeutic classroom team to design and evaluate supports.
• Conduct and interpret assessments to inform student programming.
• Lead or support functional behavior assessments and BIP development.
• Provide individual and small-group interventions to develop emotional regulation and social skills.
• Consult with teachers on instructional strategies and positive behavior supports.
• Support staff in trauma-sensitive and culturally responsive practices.
• Maintain data collection systems to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings as appropriate.
