Mt Pleasant Community School District seeks an Academic Lead Teacher for the Therapeutic Classroom. You will provide an appropriate educational program for each child, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluate therapeutic classroom supports to meet individual needs.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and collaborate with district personnel to develop appropriate educational programs.
• Facilitate learning using instructional methods meeting each student's academic and SEBMH needs.
• Provide a safe, trauma-sensitive learning environment conducive to student growth.
• Work with the behavior lead teacher, families and staff to support academic and social-emotional development.
• Complete required activities for state and federal special education requirements.
