Job summary

Qualifications

• Assess students' functional capabilities and/or classroom environment to determine functional level and develop recommendations.
• Collaborate with families, teachers and other personnel to evaluate situations and plan supports.
• Coordinate with IEP teams to determine appropriate treatments and services.
• Develop treatment plans and educational materials aligned with IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' functional capabilities and classroom environment for determining needs and recommendations.
• Assess gross motor and development skills to identify deficits and plan interventions.
• Communicate with students, parents, teachers, and staff to evaluate situations and solve problems.
• Consult with families and guardians to enhance student access and mobility in school activities.
• Coordinate with IEP team and attend meetings to discuss services and plans.
• Develop treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials from the IEP.
• Transport supplies and equipment to various sites to ensure availability.
• Perform other duties to ensure efficient operation of the unit.
