Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a long-term leave in the Richfield, MN area. We're seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

This in-person, part-time role (20 hours/week) runs Sep 21 through Jan 4, 2026–2027, supporting students who receive Setting IV special education services. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Minnesota OT license.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Previous classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
