Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed or eligible for Wisconsin OT license.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience with students in special education, including autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services aligned with students’ IEPs for self-care, academics, leisure and play.
• Collaborate with educational team to plan and conduct therapy activities.
• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations as part of eligibility and service determination.
• Promote motor planning, sensory regulation, fine motor skills and adaptive functioning in classroom participation.
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide data, support goal development and service compliance.
• Document services and student progress, including daily notes and progress reports.
• Deliver services in-person via direct, indirect, and consultation methods.
• Track treatment minutes and submit monthly billing reports.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and school regulations.
