Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support first-grade students in two elementary schools. This contract role focuses on life skills, sensory integration, and motor development in small group settings, with flexible, late-morning sessions and an overall part-time schedule.

ASAP through June 18, 2027, the OT will provide direct therapy, coordinate with teachers and families, conduct assessments, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy to first-grade students at two elementary schools.
• Facilitate small group sessions as scheduled (late mornings).
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and families to support student goals and progress.
• Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation.
• Attend meetings with the school team as needed.
• Participate in virtual interviews with school administrators.
