Job summary

Platinum Therapy is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for in-person, school-based positions in Salem, Oregon. This (.8 position) offers meaningful opportunities to support students academically, socially, and independently.

You will provide OT evaluations and IEP-directed services, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families to ensure student success. Compensation is $45–$76 per hour with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Current OT license in Oregon.
• Experience as an OT in a school-based setting.
• Experience as an active IEP team member.
• Experience conducting OT assessments and evaluations.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to supporting students and collaborating with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT evaluations and IEP-directed services in a school setting.
• Conduct OT evaluations for initial eligibility and re-evaluations.
• Develop and implement OT goals aligned with student needs and IEPs.
• Provide timely documentation of therapy sessions and evaluations.
• Participate as a direct member of IEP teams and attend IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and school staff.
• Support students in developing functional, academic, and school-related skills.
