BlazerJobs, Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time contract in an elementary Autism program for the 2026-2027 school year near Willimantic, CT.

The role covers five classrooms across three schools, totaling 22.5 hours weekly of direct services. You will develop individualized plans with educators, maintain progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings while traveling between buildings as needed.

Qualifications

• Current OT or COTA licensure (or eligibility) for Connecticut.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred, especially with Autism.
• Ability to adapt interventions to varied student needs and learning styles.
• Strong communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Reliability and professional integrity in all interactions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in specialized Autism classrooms.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with educators and other providers.
• Maintain accurate service records and progress notes per district guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reports as needed.
• Travel between school buildings within the district as required.
