Job summary

BridgePrep Academy Broward in Hollywood, FL is seeking a licensed School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our ESE team on a part-time basis. You will evaluate and support students needing therapy to improve fine motor skills, handwriting, self-regulation, and visual-motor integration to participate in daily classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Florida OT license required.
• Pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Level 2 background screening (HB 531).
• Provide three professional references, including at least one supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Direct OT sessions for ESE students per IEPs.
• Conduct functional OT assessments and determine educational relevance.
• Lead and document IEP goals; maintain therapy logs and attend meetings.
• Recommend classroom accommodations and adaptive tools.
• Engage with families to share progress and home strategies.
