Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality school-based OT services across two Illinois communities. The role requires occasional travel between Peoria and Bloomington, with one day per week in Peoria in an ED setting and three or more days in Bloomington serving ED, Aut, Life Skills, and other needs.

You will assess students, develop and implement targeted treatment plans, and work with educators and families to support educational goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (IL).
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Ability to adapt approach for ED and mixed-exceptionality classrooms.
• Strong communication and collaboration with educators, families, and staff.
• Efficient organization to manage documentation across locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ needs.
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans to support educational goals.
• Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for IEP meetings and progress reviews.
• Communicate skill development strategies to teachers and caregivers.
• Maintain all required student records and documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide consultative support and professional recommendations to school teams.
