Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in the Marana, AZ area is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This itinerant role covers multiple school sites and is in-person in the school setting.

You will assess students, write evaluations, develop IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain documentation, with competitive pay and benefits. This position offers a supportive environment with mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and active license to practice in Arizona.
• Active Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
