Job summary

Children of Peace School in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Principal of Operations (Part Time). The AP collaborates with the Principal to ensure smooth, family‑centered school operations, overseeing enrollment, tuition management, scholarships, and vendor partnerships.

This role designs and maintains operational systems for daily school functioning—arrival/dismissal, communications workflows, event logistics—and ensures timely, clear communications with families, staff, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in school operations, nonprofit administration, or enrollment management strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a faith-based school environment.

Responsibilities

• Enrollment & Admissions Management: Lead and manage the full enrollment cycle, including inquiries, tours, applications, acceptance, and onboarding.
• Marketing & Community Outreach: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract new families; manage digital presence.
• Schoolwide Operational Systems: Design and maintain systems for daily school functioning (arrival/dismissal, communication workflows, event logistics, forms, data collection).
• Family & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as primary contact for families regarding enrollment, tuition, scholarships, and operations; draft timely communications.
