Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking an Onsite Reviewer to conduct reviews of school meal counts and claiming procedures across multiple sites. This part-time/temporary role involves observing meal services, reporting findings, and coordinating with food service directors to enforce USDA and district standards.

The position requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable) with 2+ years of relevant experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience; food services exp. preferred.
• Excellent planning, organization, time management and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation and evaluation of school meal services as assigned.
• Accurate submission of reviews at all assigned school sites.
• Interact with food service directors and school staff to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Report findings, provide corrective actions and conduct required follow up reviews.
• Perform required trainings and other duties as assigned.
