Qualifications

• Must be a registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• Massachusetts Department of Education certification preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health history records on all students.
• Identify students with health problems.
• Counsel students, parents and staff concerning health problems and interpreting health appraisal findings.
• Assume responsibility for follow-up of screening procedures (hearing and vision).
• Administer medication and treatment as needed during school hours.
• Provide emergency care for students, faculty and employees who are ill or injured during the school day.
