The American School for the Deaf (ASD) in West Hartford, CT is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the 2nd shift (M-W). The role includes nursing care for students and staff, medication administration, and on-site health services. Requires CT RN license, CPR, and willingness to use sign language.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license with CPR certification.
• Three years of school nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to use sign language or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical care to students and staff under supervision.
• Administer and document medications for all students.
• Support Medical Consultant as needed.
• Coordinate care during off-site trips and field events.
• Assist with paperwork and reporting as requested.
