Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance.
• Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and directions.
• Prior experience in a school, cafeteria, food-service, or clerical environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lunch service and daily cafeteria operations
• Support students during scheduled lunch periods
• Assist with student meal counts and basic lunch-related recordkeeping
• Help maintain an organized, safe, and positive cafeteria environment
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with students, staff, and food-service personnel
• Reinforce school expectations and appropriate student behavior during lunch
• Follow all school procedures related to student safety, confidentiality, and food-service operations
• Perform other lunch-related duties as assigned by school administration
