Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker for East Providence Public Schools. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 1:15 pm, at 2000 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, RI 02915. Prior cash handling experience is preferred; training is provided and scheduling aligns with the school calendar.

The position involves operating POS, assisting the Chef, serving customers, and keeping stations clean. Benefits include a comprehensive package for associates.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale system and handle cash accurately.
• Assist Chef and maintain clean cashier and coffee stations.
• Prepare coffee and assist with food items as needed.
• Provide service across all retail areas including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashier according to procedures and balance receipts; make deposits as required.
• Restock and inventory supplies and food products daily.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and temperatures records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
