Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Cranston, RI is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker to prepare, present, and serve meals at Cranston Public Schools in accordance with safety standards.

Shifts run Monday through Friday from 6:00/9:00 am to 1:00/1:30 pm. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required, with training provided. Compensation ranges from $18.80 to $21.80 per hour, and multiple benefits are available for associates.

• Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food following recipes and standards.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils and stores food safely.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves concerns.
