New Paradigm for Education is seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Food Service Clerk to join our lunchroom team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to students and staff during lunch hours and ensure a smooth operation of the lunchroom. Availability is required between 7:15 a.m.

and 1:45 p.m. Responsibilities include counting meals, monitoring meal service, assisting with setup and cleanup, handling breakfast distribution, maintaining accurate meal counts, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Commitment to providing a positive experience for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Count food received; verify it matches meals ordered.
• Check portion sizes of meal components.
• Contact the Food Service Coordinator or Director if items are missing or unsafe.
• Count students as they come through the serving line to ensure a complete meal.
• Complete lunch meal count forms accurately.
• Assist monitoring students after they are seated and during cleanup.
• Pass out breakfast to classrooms and count sheets.
• Collect breakfast count sheets and submit weekly meal counts.
