Kamehameha Schools Maui is seeking a part-time Cook to join its Food Services team. This regular, part-time role offers a supportive environment focused on nutritious meals that support student success and community well‑being.

The ideal candidate has kitchen or food service experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to health standards. The position provides a benefits package and a balanced schedule with evenings and weekends limited to events.

Formación

• Previous kitchen or food service experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain National Food Safety and Sanitation Certification within two weeks.
• Willingness to drive or learn to drive a large food service vehicle safely.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains dish room cleanliness and stores dishes and utensils.
• Logs temperatures for food, dish machines, and cold/hot storage per health standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen appliances and prep areas.
• Assists cooks with food preparation and inventory control.
• Sets up hot food stations and monitors supply levels.
• Transports and unloads supplies and equipment as needed.
